Bill Camp
William "Bill" Camp (born October 13, 1961 in Massachusetts ) is an American actor . He gained fame primarily through the role of Dennis Box from the miniseries The Night Of , which earned him, among other things, a nomination for an Emmy Award .
life and career
Bill Camp comes from the US state of Massachusetts and began his acting career in the theater, where he is very active to this day, even before he was seen in film and television. At the theater he has appeared in plays such as Heartbreak House , Death of a Salesman, and Witch Hunt . For the latter, he received a 2016 Tony Award nomination in the Best Actor category and won a Drama Desk Award in the same category .
Camp has been active in film and television since 1990, after taking on a supporting role in B.'s The Sunny Affair . Further film appearances followed initially in In & Out - Rosa like love , Rounders and Ten Hundred Kings . He took his first guest roles on television in New York Undercover , The Heavenly Joan and Criminal Intent . In 2007 he took on a small supporting role in the film drama A Single Moment . In 2010 he starred as Glen McCreavy in the film Always Drama Around Tamara . This was followed by appearances in Boardwalk Empire , Good Wife and a supporting role in Damages - Im Netz der Macht . Bill Camp is the son of a former assistant principal and a librarian. He has been married to fellow actress Elizabeth Marvel since 2004 . Together they are parents of one son.
