Dashiell Mihok (born May 24, 1974 in New York City ) is an American actor , director and film producer .

biography

Dash Mihok was born to two actors and grew up in Greenwich Village . His real first name Dashiell can be traced back to Dashiell Hammett . After finishing school at the Bronx High School of Science and a study of the dance , he took the road to the film and worked from then in several Hollywood films with, mostly in supporting roles . In addition to Leonardo DiCaprio , he acted in William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet in 1996 ; Also worth mentioning are his appearances in Der Sturm (2000) with Mark Wahlberg and in The Day After Tomorrow (2004) as a friend of Dennis Quaid . In 2006, Mihok's first film, That Guy , was released, which he directed and also produced. In 2011 Mihok stood next to Method Man for the urban thriller Der Sezierer - Not all dead are silent ( The Mortician ) and Trespass in front of the camera.

Private

Mihok was in a relationship with Alanis Morissette and can be seen as a dancer in her music video for the song So Pure .
