Sex and Death 101 is a 2007 American comedy film . It was directed by Daniel Waters , who also wrote the screenplay.

Roderick Blank is a successful entrepreneur in the fast food industry. He is about to get married.

Blank receives an email with a list of all 101 people he has had sex with in the past and will have sex in the future. He falls in love with a woman who is not on the list. Thus, the entrepreneur tries to take his predetermination into his own hands. Unfortunately he doesn't succeed. The last person on the list is a woman, also known as Death Nell . She, Gillian, punishes men who she thinks mistreat women. When this woman's identity is revealed, there are only 20 women between him and her.

Reviews

Ken Eisner wrote on June 20, 2007 in the online edition of Variety magazine that the basic idea was promising. However, the film lacks laughter and attraction. The cinematic implementation is weak, which makes the film only suitable for cable television and video stores ( "bet-hedging blandness and weak production values ​​make this anodyne sex romp best suited to cable and vidstore crypts" ).
