Rolfe Kent
Rolfe Kent (born April 18, 1963 in St. Albans in England ) is a British film composer .
Life
Kent has been a film music composer since 1989 and has participated in more than 60 productions. Occasionally he is also active as a conductor.
Kent was for the music to the film Legally Blonde (2001) for the Film Award Golden Satellite Award nomination. He was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for the music for the film Sideways (2004) . Four times in his career to date, he has been recognized for best music at the BMI Film & TV Awards . He also received the Richard Kirk Career Achievement Award in 2012.
In 2009 he won the Satellite Award for Jason Reitman's film Up in the Air . Kent composed the music for Reitman's Thank You for Smoking in 2005 .
Kent currently lives in Los Angeles .
