In Mistakes Were Made , the first volume in the series and title key to the film, is the first book of the American comic artist for younger readers. Cast and filming

From June 27, 2018, filming took place in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, including the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. One movie set was a border crossing between the United States and Canada. Filming continued in Portland, Oregon from late July to early September 2018.
