Sophie Monk
Sophie Charlene Akland Monk (born December 14, 1979 in England ) is an Australian actress and singer .
Life
Monk moved to Australia with her family as a child . She applied in 1999 for an ad on the Australian television show Popstars , which was looking for girls with dance and singing experience, and then became a member of the music group Bardot . In 2004 she was part of the blink-182 music video "Always" .
In the comedy Date Movie (2006) she played one of the bigger roles alongside Alyson Hannigan . In one of the scenes in the film, she parodies Paris Hilton . In the comedy Klick (2006) she appeared alongside Adam Sandler and David Hasselhoff . In the comedy Sex and Death 101 (2007) she played alongside Winona Ryder .
Since 2018 she has hosted the Australian version of Love Island .
