Leslie Louise Bibb (born November 17, 1974 in Bismarck , North Dakota ) is an American actress and model .

life and career

When Bibb was three years old, her father died. She later moved to Richmond with her mother and three older sisters . Bibb grew up in Virginia .

The then 16-year-old Bibb won a modeling competition on the Oprah Winfrey Show , after which she started a national modeling career. To advance her acting career, she completed a three-year acting course in New York City . After graduation, Bibb worked as a model in Europe , then moved to Los Angeles . Her photos appeared in magazines such as Maxim and FHM .

Bibb played the role of Chloe Whitfield , the friend of Lucas McNamara , played by Joshua Jackson in the 2000 thriller The Skulls . It was in 2000 for her role in the TV serial Popular for the Teen Choice Award nominations. In 2001 she received the Young Hollywood Award . From late 2005 to 2007, Bibb played the police psychologist Detective Tallulah "Lu" Simmons in the series Crossing Jordan - Pathologist with Profile .

Bibb was married to Rob Born from 2003 to 2004. She has been in a relationship with actor Sam Rockwell since 2007 .
