Catch me! (Original title: Tag ) is an American action comedy by Jeff Tomsic from 2018. The film was released in the USA on June 15, 2018 and was released in German cinemas on July 26, 2018.

Five childhood friends have been playing catch since childhood . Even now, almost 30 years after the game began, they host it every May. This year Jerry, the only one of the five friends who has never been beaten, is getting married in May. His friends try to catch him, of course, but Jerry has a few tricks up his sleeve. Interference against the rules of the game by wives, fiancés and ex-girlfriends creates an additional stir.

The film is based on a true story.
Leading actor Jeremy Renner broke both arms at the start of filming . In order to still be able to turn the plaster of paris was colored green. So the arms could be added later in the film editing via CGI .

The film received mixed reviews. On Metacritic , the film received a Metascore of 56/100 based on 35 reviews, while Rotten Tomatoes received 56 percent of the 190 reviews positive.
Variety's Peter Debruge writes that the film "leaves the audience [...] inspired". Jon Frosch from the Hollywood Reporter, on the other hand, calls the film "often amusing, but rarely funny".
The film grossed $ 78.1 million worldwide, including $ 54.7 million in the United States. In Germany, the film has so far recorded 156,501 visitors.
