Tanc Sade (born July 28, 1980 in Sydney , New South Wales ) is an Australian actor and former freediver . He gained fame primarily through the role of Finn from the series Gilmore Girls .

life and career

Tanc Sade was born in the Australian metropolis of Sydney. Before he turned completely to acting, he was successful for years in the disciplines of mountain biking and apnea diving. In his spare time he has been spearfishing since his youth . In freediving, he has held the national record for fin diving without breathing since 2012 with 218 meters. In the meantime he held the national record for finneless diving without breathing with 177 meters. In mountain biking he belonged to the extended national top from 1998 to 2002, before finally turning his back on competitive sport and focusing on acting. Two years later he moved to Los Angeles .

In 2002 Sade first appeared in front of the camera in the short film Code 2 . After a guest appearance on the series Koalas and Other Relatives , he got the role of the Australian student Finn in the series Gilmore Girls in 2004 , in which was to be seen recurring until 2006. In this role he also appeared in the revival titled Gilmore Girls: A New Year ten years later. In 2007, Sade appeared as a beta in a supporting role in the comedy film Sex and Death 101 . He then appeared in guest roles in the series CSI: Miami , CSI: NY , 90210 , The Strip , The Mentalist , Body of Proof , Sons of Anarchy , Lethal Weapon , Deception and Atlanta Medical .

In 2008 Sade released the short film Flowers and Weeds , in which he played the leading role of Joshua and, in addition to writing the script, also directed it. The actor Terence Stamp could be won for other roles . In 2012, Sade starred in the role of Pete in the action thriller Stolen . In 2014, Sade was cast for the series Matador , in the David Beckham- based role of Alec Holester . The series was discontinued after only one season produced. In preparation for the role, he got help from that same David Beckham in order to be able to portray a professional player as realistically as possible. In 2016 he starred as Christopher House in the series Roadies , based on Cameron Crowes ' idea in a supporting role.
