Michael Iwannek

Michael Iwannek (born December 31, 1963 in East Berlin ) is a German voice actor , radio play speaker and singer .

Life

Iwannek already had a solo training as a singer at the age of seven to eight . He took part in talent competitions, through which he came to the State Opera and appeared in television programs such as Ein Kessel Buntes , Die goldene Note or Theo Adam invites .

At the age of sixteen, he began an apprenticeship as a commercial manager for the receptionist . Last year he came to the so-called " tape synchronization " as a recording manager through an internship and gained his first experience in synchronization. Because a colleague was absent due to illness, Iwannek received his first takes in a television series. Due to his singing experience, he was often engaged as a singer in films and series and also worked as a voice actor. He received his first major role in 1984/1985 after a casting, which he sang and dubbed with Gerry Wolff , at the same time he completed a vocal degree.

Iwannek is extensively active in the synchronization of films, series and video games, as well as radio play productions. He is particularly known as the German regular speaker of Zach Galifianakis ( Hangover trilogy ), Danny McBride ( 30 minutes or less ), Dona Logue ( Gangster Glam ) and Matthew Perry in Friends . He is known to a wider audience as Alien Roger in the animated series American Dad .

Iwannek lives in Berlin.
