Daniel Richard "Danny" McBride (born December 29, 1976 in Statesboro , Georgia ) is an American screenwriter , producer and actor .

Life

After his first role in All the Real Girls , McBride starred in the film The Foot Fist Way with co-writer Ben Best . Jody Hill wrote this book with them and directed it. This trio later developed the series Eastbound & Down , which was broadcast in the US from 2009. This series was produced by Will Ferrell , who was also responsible for McBride's second major success, Hot Rod - Full Throttle Through Hell . Together they can be seen in the film adaptation of the television series In Land of the Saurians under the title The Almost Forgotten World . Together with Ben Stiller he played in the films After 7 Days - Ausflittert and Tropic Thunder .

McBride developed the series Vice Principals as a writer and was involved in the film Halloween , which came out in 2018.
