action

The strictly religiously educated film fanatic Ike Jerome comes to Hollywood in 1969 . Most people just call him "Vicar". His obsession is close to autism, and he especially admires the actors Montgomery Clift and Elizabeth Taylor and the film A Place in the Sun , in which both can be seen together. So he tattooed their faces on the back of his shaved head. In Los Angeles Ike finally wants to realize his dreams and become active in the film business himself, but in Hollywood at this time a shift in the power structures is taking place. Independent directors like Francis Ford Coppola are trendy right now, while the big studios are suffering. Finally, Ike made it into the industry as a film editor .
