Rainn Wilson
Rainn Dietrich Wilson (born January 20, 1966 in Seattle , Washington ) is an American actor .
Life
He grew up in Seattle , Washington state . There he went to Central Middle School and then to Shorecrest High School in Shoreline . When his parents moved to Willmette , Illinois , to work on the House of Worship at the Baha'i National Center , he attended New Trier High School. He comes from a Baha'i family and also belongs to the faith. He is committed to helping the Baha'i persecuted in Iran . He received theater training from Tufts University in Massachusetts and the University of Washington . He then graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City .
Wilson has been married to the writer Holiday Reinhorn since 1995. He met her in college acting class and has had a son with her since 2004.
Career
He is known for his role in the US version of the series Das Büro and the lead role in the movie The Rocker - Voll der (S) Hit from 2008. Between 2007 and 2009, he was in three times for the part of Dwight Schrute in Das Büro Episode nominated for an Emmy .
