Michael Cudlitz (born December 29, 1964 on Long Island , New York ) is an American actor and director .

Life

Cudlitz grew up in Lakewood , New Jersey , where he graduated from Lakewood High School in 1982 . He attended the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). Initially, Cudlitz played supporting roles in television series such as 21 Jump Street , Our Loud Home and A Strong Family . Cudlitz played the first major, continuous role in 1992/1993 as Tony Miller in the series Beverly Hills, 90210 .

He often played minor supporting roles in US series including CSI: The Criminals on the Track , 24 , Lost , Prison Break and Life . In 2001, Cudlitz took on the role of Sgt. Denver "Bull" Randleman in nine episodes of the miniseries Band of Brothers - We Were Like Brothers . He also played police officer John Cooper in the TNT television series Southland . In 2011, Cudlitz starred in the television film Days of Innocence on the side of Dermot Mulroney and Anne Heche . From 2014 to 2016 he played the role of Sergeant Abraham Ford in the US television series The Walking Dead , in which he also directed episodes 9.07 and 10.04.

Speaking roles

Cudlitz is the voice of Sgt. Glenn "Hawk" Hawkins in the video game Call of Duty 2: Big Red One . He also speaks Corporal Griffen in the video games Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 .

Property master and designer

Cudlitz also works on the set in various roles in various film and television productions . He was a carpenter , set- designer , Propmaker -Gangchef and construction - Coordinator operates.

Private life

He is married to Rachel Cudlitz. He met his wife while they were studying together at CalArts. The couple have male twins.
