Gaspare "Kaspar" Capparoni (born August 1, 1964 in Rome ) is an Italian actor .

Life

Capparoni's father was a surgeon, his mother a German teacher from Sexten in South Tyrol .

He attended the German School in Rome and made his theater debut at the age of 18, where he worked with Giuseppe Patroni Griffi . He later began his cinema career with films such as Phenomena (1984) under the direction of Dario Argento .

Since 2007, Capparoni has played the leading role in the Italian-Austrian television series Kommissar Rex , directed by Marco Serafini , which he left with his colleagues Fabio Ferri and Pilar Abella in 2010. He was succeeded by Ettore Bassi .

Kaspar Capparoni took part in "Ballando con le stelle" with his dance partner Yulia Musikhina and won the finale of the 7th season of the Italian edition of Let's Dance on April 30, 2011.
