Batman Ninja ( Japanese ニ ン ジ ャ バ ッ ト マ ン Ninja Battoman ) is a Japanese animated film from 2018 that is about the eponymous superhero from the DC comic universe .

action

Like his archenemy Joker, Batman is teleported to Japan at the time of feudalism . There the Joker can be celebrated as God-King, while Batman, with the support of some of his friends like Alfred Pennyworth, Robin and Catwoman against the henchmen of the Joker, including Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Two-Face, the Penguin, Deathstroke, Bane and Gorilla Grodd, fights. Batman must acquire the skills and equipment of the ninja and samurai in order to prevent history from being changed and Japan from being subjugated by the super villains.

Creation and publication

A movie poster was released for the first time on October 5, 2017, and a first trailer followed on December 1, 2017. It was first released in the US on April 24 on the Internet and on May 8 on Blu-Ray and DVD. The German release is planned for May 24th.

Batman Ninja is animated by the Kamikaze Dōga studio . Distribution will be through Warner Bros. Entertainment . The script of the film comes from Kazuki Nakashima known for Kill la Kill , the character design by Takashi Okazaki , who was already known with Afro Samurai . The film has been in development since 2014. The fight scenes were first choreographed with real representations and then converted into animated images using this film material.
