The Adventures of Batman ( dt . Batman with Robin, the Boy Wonder ) is an American animated television series from the production company Filmation from 1968, the adventures of the cartoon characters Batman and Robin adapted. It aired in Germany as part of the series Ein Fall für Batman .

Production and publication

Filmation produced the series, directed by Hal Sutherland , with music composed by John Gart. Art director was Don Christensen. The series comprises 17 episodes in one season. Each 30-minute episode, including commercials, consists of two adventures with Batman and Robin. One of them is a two-part two-by-6.5 minute series that is interrupted by advertising. The other adventure is completed in 6.5 minutes. 34 adventures were shown in 17 episodes.

The series was broadcast as part of The Batman / Superman Hour program . At that time it was called Batman with Robin the Boy Wonder , and old episodes of the series A Job for Superman and The Adventures of Superboy were running in parallel . When the series was later repeated independently of the show, it carried the new title The Adventures of Batman . A few years later, the series received a sequel under the title Ein Fall für Batman (original title: The New Adventures of Batman ). Five episodes of the series appeared on VHS in 1985 in the Super Powers video collection.

In Germany, the series was first broadcast by Pro Sieben on July 1, 1991 , along with the sequel as Ein Fall für Batman . Repetitions on Sat.1 , Junior and K-Toon followed.
