Lawrence Samuel "Larry" Storch (born January 8, 1923 in New York ) is an American actor and voice actor.

Live and act

He attended DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx with future actor and lifelong friend Don Adams . He closed the school because of the hard times of the Great Depression does not, and instead hired as a stand-up comedian for 12 dollars a week in Sheepshead Bay. Storch served in the US Navy with Tony Curtis aboard the submarine tender USS Proteus (AS-19) during World War II .

Career

In addition to his mostly comedic roles on television for F Troop and The Ghost Busters , he has worked as a voice actor for several cartoon shows. In the German-speaking world, he is best known for his role in the series A Terrible Nice Family , in which he played himself and ran the Larry Storch drama school that Kelly Bundy attended.

In addition, Storch appeared on Broadway as a theater actor.

He was born in New York City to Alfred Storch, a real estate agent, and his wife, Sally Storch (née Kupperman), a telephone operator. Storch was once married to Norma Catherine Greve (born April 6, 1922, married on July 10, 1961, † August 28, 2003) and has three children; a stepson; Lary May, a daughter; Candace Herman and a stepdaughter; June Cross. Storch had a younger brother; Jay Storch (born April 24, 1924, † June 18, 1987), who also worked as an actor and voice actor under the stage name "Jay Lawrence".
