Rie Kugimiya
Rie Kugimiya ( Japanese 釘 宮 理 恵 , Kugimiya Rie ; born May 30, 1979 ) is a Japanese voice actress ( seiyū ).
biography
Kugimiya is from Kumamoto Prefecture . In 1997 she won the "I'm enterprise & Watashi-tachi, Tobimasu" award at the Nihon Narration Engi Kenkyūjo ( 日本 ナ レ ー シ ョ ン 演技 研究所 ) sponsored 1st Seiyū Summer School - the latter is the name of a radio program by the Nihon Narration Engi Kenkyūjo . Then it was taken over by I'm enterprise.
She made her début as a voice actor in 1998 in the Sega-Saturn version of the Ren'ai simulation étude prologue - Yureugoku Kokoro no Katachi ( étude prologue ～ 揺 れ 動 く 心 か か た ち, ), and for Anime 1999 as Mentamaru-seijin in Kyoro-chan .
Because of her leading roles as Shana in Shakugan no Shana , Louise in Zero no Tsukaima , Nagi Sanzen'in in Hayate no Gotoku! and Taiga Aisaka in Toradora! , or even for a portable television, all of which have a Tsundere character, she is referred to as the "Queen of Tsundere" ( ツ ン デ レ の 女王 , tsundere no joō ). But she is not limited to these roles and speaks a wide range of characters.
In 2007 she received at the 2nd Seiyū Awards , u. a. because of her role as Nagi Senzen'in in Hayate no Gotoku! and as Shana in Shakugan no Shana , next to Mitsuki Saiga the prize for the best female supporting role, and in 2008 at the 3rd Seiyū Awards, a. a. because of her role as Taiga Aisaka in Toradora! and as Miharu Rokujō in Nabari no Ō , the award for Best Female Leading Role.
