Malcolm-Jamal Warner
Malcolm-Jamal Warner (born August 18, 1970 in Jersey City , New Jersey ) is an American actor and film producer . He played his best-known role in the Bill Cosby Show , he played the role of Theo Huxtable from 1984 to 1992.
Life
He had his first role in 1982 in an episode of the detective series Matt Houston . 1983 followed another guest appearance in the series Fame , before he got the role of Theo Huxtable . He starred in the US sitcom The Bill Cosby Show for eight years. This was followed by the movies Drop Zone (1994) and Restaurant (1998), as well as leading roles in the series Malcolm & Eddie (1996-2000) and Jeremiah - Warriors of Thunder (2002-2004).
Warner directed five episodes on the Bill Cosby Show , the first in 1990.
At Malcolm & Eddie , Warner took on multiple roles in several episodes. He was an actor, producer and director. He was also a producer and director on the short film This Old Man .
From 2010 to 2013 he was in a relationship with actress Regina King , whom he has known since the 1980s.

On April 6, 1993 , Warner performed live at an aftershow for Prince at Cabaret Metro in Chicago. Warner is the front man of the jazz band Miles Long, which he produces on his own music label Wonder Factory . The band released the album The Miles Long Mixtape in 2003, followed by Love & Other Social Issues in 2007 . He played his music in the series Malcolm & Eddie .
