Nicholas Lea (born June 22, 1962 in New Westminster , British Columbia as Nicholas Christopher Schroeder ) is a Canadian actor who became known to German-speaking audiences through the television series The X-Files , in which he played the role of "Alex Krycek".

Life

Lea made his screen debut in small film productions in 1989, but he got his first leading role in 1991 as "Officer Enrico Caruso" in the Canadian television series The Police Chief . He later took part in several episodes of the popular TV series The X-Files , which meant something like the breakthrough in his career as an actor for Nicholas Lea. In the following years he also played in several episodes of CSI: On the trail of the perpetrators . There he took on the role of a nightclub owner with whom Catherine Willows, played by Marg Helgenberger , was briefly in a relationship.
