Conor is hired as a US Marshal . He guards the newly appointed judge Faith Mattis at the federal court in Washington, DC After an attack on the judge took place, the United States Marshals Service took over the personal protection. You and Conor discover a military conspiracy to plan a coup. The US president is said to be killed while visiting a missile launch base. Mattis and Gallagher are then hunted.

On the run, they get into the car of the government agents who are supposed to be investigating the conspirators. You hand over the evidence collected on a data carrier and are taken to the missile base. There it turns out that the agents are working for the conspirators. Mattis is handcuffed under the ready-to-launch missile. After a fight with Brunson, Conor defused the bomb that was supposed to sabotage the rocket launch and kill the president. He shoots the handcuffs and saves the judge at the last moment. General MacAteer, who planned the attack, commits suicide. Conor gets to see his beloved daughter again, and he and Mattis enjoy each other.
