Yves Langlois
Yves Langlois (born September 16, 1945 in Mulsanne , France ) is a French film editor .
Life and accomplishments
Langlois was born in Mulsanne, in the French department of Sarthe , in the Pays de la Loire region .
In his career he was responsible for editing over 70 films . He also worked as an actor in supporting roles.
For his achievements as an editor, Langlois received various Canadian awards, namely a 1983 Genie Award for In the Beginning Was the Fire , in 1988 a Gémeaux Award for the television series Lance et compte and in 1996 a Gemini Award for the television film From Mother Torn . For the latter award he was nominated in 1993 for the miniseries Golden Fiddles . The American Cinema Editors suggested him in 2001 for Nuremberg - In the Name of Humanity for the Eddie Award .
He often works with the director Christian Duguay . Their first film together was Scanners II from 1991.
