Single mother Joanne Sanders works as a waitress in a night club. When she returned home that night, she met a man on the street with whom she was arguing. He then harasses them with phone calls, and their furniture is demolished.

Joanne and her son Eric feel threatened, but the police do not want to take any action. Joanne's mother dies in the car that explodes. Joanne takes the initiative in the fight against the stalker. She reports a man who visits the nightclub to the police. However, it turns out that the man has an alibi and Joanne was wrong.

Eric is kidnapped by the real stalker. The man calls Joanne and wants her to follow him with her car to a remote place. There she should apologize. The stalker shoots Joanne, she tears the gun away from him and shoots him. The injured stalker crawls into Joanne's car, with which he wants to run over Joanne. She shoots the car, which explodes.
