Sean O'Bryan

Sean Michael O'Bryan (born September 10, 1963 in Louisville , Kentucky ) is an American actor .

Life

Raised in Kentucky, Sean O'Bryan moved to Los Angeles in the 1990s to pursue his acting career.

O'Bryan made his acting debut in 1991 with a guest role on the MacGyver episode The 'Hood . After appearances in the series Back to the Past and Alaska , of all things , he appeared in the films Chaplin (1992) and 4 Heavenly Friends (1993). This was followed by guest roles in Beverly Hills, 90210 , A Terribly Nice Family and Picket Fences - as well as in the film Snowstorm in Paradise , before he starred in 1995 in the series Pig Sty with Brian McNamara . From 1992 to 1995 he played three different characters in Murder is Her Hobby .

After he had made other appearances in numerous series, he was seen from 1998 to 1999 in one of the leading roles in the series Brother's Keeper . O'Bryan also starred in the 2001 film The Princess and its 2004 sequel as Mr. O'Connell, alongside actresses Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews . In 2002 he was in Lies Have Short Legs and in 2003 in ten episodes of the Abby series. In 2008 the role of Cavic in 8 Blickwinkel and that of Ted in Der Ja-Sager followed . O'Bryan also had a leading role in 2010 on the NBC series Persons Unknown . Between 2011 and 2018 he played the role of neighbor Ron Donahue in 21 episodes of the sitcom The Middle .

He has been married to Samantha Follows, Megan Follows ' sister, since 1995 . The couple have two daughters.
