Christmas Blinding (Original Title: Deck the Halls ) is a 2006 American comedy film directed by John Whitesell .
action
The local ophthalmologist Steve Finch wants to prepare a big Christmas Eve for his children, complete with an advent calendar and a big Christmas tree - even if his two pubescent children don't appreciate it. During the night Finch looks out the window and sees a truck driving by with her new neighbors sitting in it. After they meet, Tia and Kelly become friends, as do the twins and Madison. On a website that is a parody of Google Earth, Buddy Hall notices that his new house is nowhere to be seen. That's why Buddy resolves to illuminate his house so brightly with fairy lights that you can see his house from space. One day Buddy Steve steals the annual show. A real exchange of blows begins according to the scheme: "Who has the brightest house?"

Reviews
Richard Roeper wrote in the November 22, 2006 review in the Chicago Sun-Times that it was hard to believe how terrible the film was.
"Little moody Christmas film with an all-too-familiar story in which the comic potential of the gags rarely ignites."
