Näshörn (formerly: Nisshörn , North Frisian : Neshörn , Danish : Nishjørne ) is the easternmost tip of the North Frisian North Sea island of Föhr . The tip, named after the nearby village of Nissum , is located a good four kilometers north-northeast of the village of Wyk auf Föhr . The nearest mainland port is Dagebüll, six kilometers to the east . In between flows the Wattstrom Föhrer Ley . Inland from Näshörn is the Boldixumer Vogelkoje , which was commissioned in 1887 .
