Joachim Kaps (born November 3, 1952 in Görlitz ) is a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Joachim Kaps studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . He then worked from 1976 to 1979 at the South Thuringian State Theater in Meiningen , where he appeared in 27 roles in three seasons. In 1979 he switched to the pantomime ensemble at the Deutsches Theater Berlin. At the same time he made a guest appearance at the Volksbühne Berlin on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. At this time he also began working for television, where he has appeared more than 200 times to date. He played the clownish host "Achim" on the children's program Brummkreisel a hundred times alone . Another well-known role was from 1983 to 1989 that of "Hans-Günther Koch" in the TV series of the GDR television holiday home Bergkristall .
