Tanja Schmitz (born April 13, 1973 in Düsseldorf ) is a German actress , dialogue book author , dialogue director and voice actress .

Act

Schmitz began her acting career even before graduating from high school. Her first movie was totally stupid from 1987. After graduating from high school, she studied dance, singing and acting for three years. Numerous engagements at stages in German-speaking countries followed, including in Düsseldorf, Berlin and Hamburg.

Tanja Schmitz was best known on television for the role of Julia von der Marwitz in the ARD series Lindenstrasse . From March 1995 (episode 484) to September 1996 (episode 565) she worked in the family series. She then played the role of Eva Schönfeldt in the SWR series Die Fallers . From 2004 to 2011 she was the actress for the journalist Britta Oberländer in the WDR series Die Anrheiner . She also made numerous short films and appeared in Die Wache , SK Kölsch and SK-Babies, for example.

Tanja Schmitz lives in Berlin and works as a speaker, dialogue book author and director in dubbing and theater. In 2013 she co-founded the “Young Ensemble of the Neukölln Opera” and staged “Quartet” there. Further productions at the theater followed, including "The River Spirit Melody" and "Illness of Youth".
