Doc McStuffins, Toy Doctor (Original Title: Doc McStuffins) is an American computer-animated series for children, which is produced by Brown Bag Films. The series' creator and executive producer is Humanitas Prize and Emmy Award winner Chris Nee. On March 23, 2012, the series premiered on the US broadcaster Disney Junior . It was first broadcast in German on September 17, 2012 on the pay TV channel Disney Junior. The free TV premiere of the series initially took place on Super RTL ; the broadcast is now continuing on the Disney Channel .

Doc McStuffins, toy doctor, received mostly positive reviews due to the series concept and the portrayal of African-Americans. Chris Nee described the series as " cheers for preschoolers".

Doc McStuffins is a 6 year old little girl who runs a stuffed animals and toys hospital in his garden. The lovable "doctor" brings the cuddly toys and toys to life in a magical way to find out where her patients hurt. Doc and her friends take care of the patients with great dedication so that they can recover. Meanwhile, they give valuable tips to the children at home on how to live healthily and help each other, and teach the importance of imagination and imagination.

Mr. Marcus McStuffins is the father of Doc and Donny and husband of Maisha. While his wife is at work, he mostly takes care of the children at home. He likes to prepare dinner for his family.

Donny McStuffins is Doc's 4 year old little brother. He spends most of his time with his toy car and friends.

Doc McStuffins, toy doctor, received mostly positive reviews after the release. Cincomom.com's Kia Morgan Smith said, "It was really heartwarming and I almost got tears when my eight year old daughter, Mikaela, first saw Doc McStuffins and said, 'Wow Mommy - she's brown'".

Myiesha Taylor of CoilyEmbrace.com said, "This program with a little African American girl and her family is critical to the future of this changing nation." Taylor also welcomed the concept of portraying a young black girl as the main character who wants to follow in her mother's footsteps as a doctor. This inspired her to collect pictures of 131 doctors - all women of color - and to publish a collage online under the heading “We are Doc McStuffins”.
