Disney Junior is a pay television network owned by The Walt Disney Company . In the USA, the station started operations in February 2011. In Germany, the station replaced Playhouse Disney on July 14th . It started with the premiere of the new season of the handicraft show Art Attack , Lalaloopsy and the new Disney junior series Jake and the Never Land Pirates . From 6 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., the station ran under the name Playhouse Disney on the same slot.
Disney Junior HD started on September 5, 2013 and can be received on Vodafone TV variety HD via cable as well as on Telekom Entertain and Sky in the Welt Paket via satellite. Since April 1, 2020, the station is no longer broadcast via Sky.
