Matthias Klages
Matthias Klages (born March 24, 1959 in Lüneburg ) is a German voice actor and photographer .
Life
After high school and community service, he moved to Berlin in 1980. There he completed an apprenticeship at the Edith Hildebrandt Acting Studio and with the former German actress Erika Dannhoff . Since 1984 he has been working as a speaker in the fields of dubbing, documentation, radio plays , video games, e-learning and advertising. He achieved greater fame above all as the German voice of Thomas Gibson in Chicago Hope - end of the line hope and Robert Glenister in Hustle - dishonest lasts the longest . The German synchronous card index lists him with more than 2,700 entries.
As a self-taught photographer, he works exclusively analogue on various freelance projects, which he combines into series. He works mostly in black and white, both in small format and in medium format. Favorite genres are street photography, architecture and portrait.
