Zinedine Soualem
Zinedine Soualem (born April 17, 1957 in Thiers , Puy-de-Dôme , France ) is a French actor .
Life
Zinedine Soualem is of Algerian descent. He played theater as a child and worked with Patrice Chéreau , Ariane Mnouchkine and Patrick Chaput , among others . He made his screen debut alongside Richard Bohringer and Sabine Haudepin in the French feature film La bête noire directed by Chaput in 1983. In keeping with his Algerian descent, he has often played characters of Arab, Algerian or Muslim descent since then, rarely leading roles and often minor supporting roles.
Soualem was married to the Israeli-Arab actress Hiam Abbass .
