John Allen Nelson

John Allen Nelson (born August 28, 1959 in San Antonio , Texas ) is an American actor and screenwriter .

Life

Nelson gained first notoriety through his role "Warren Lockridge" in the television series California Clan , in which he appeared in 159 episodes between 1984 and 1986. His role "JD Cort" in the series Baywatch - The Lifeguards of Malibu helped him to worldwide fame . He was one of the main actors in the first season and was invited to guest appearances in the following seasons, of which he also worked as a writer for one episode. In the graduation film Baywatch - Wedding in Hawaii , other stars of the series from different seasons appear next to him.

He had other television appearances in the series 24 , Friends , Matlock , Murder is Her Hobby , Vanished , Close to Home , Saving Grace , CSI: Miami and Sheena .

Nelson was also active as a screenwriter in the 1990s. He made his debut in 1992 with the film Hot Nights in LA , in which u. a. Dennis Hopper took on a leading role.
