Deathstalker III (original title: Deathstalker III: Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell ) is a US American - Mexican barbarian film from the genre of fantasy films produced in 1988 . The film follows as a continuation of the two previous films Mystor - Der Todesjäger II (original title: Deathstalker II ) and Der Todesjäger (original title: Deathstalker ). With another successor ( Deathstalker IV ) it forms the third part of a tetralogy .

action

The adventurer and barbarian Deathstalker discovers a magical gemstone on his journey that, together with two other jewels, can give absolute power. The magician Troxartas already owns the other two stones and wants to claim the third for himself, in order to then raise an army of the dead and with their help to become ruler of the kingdom . However, this plan can be prevented by the daring Deathstalker in a final battle with Troxartas , in which the tricky villain is defeated. The kingdom is thus freed from slavery and Deathstalker receives the royal dignity for this .

criticism

"Third part of a fantasy series that, like its predecessors (cf." Mystor - The Death Hunter ") is characterized by mystical frippery, martial sword rattle and involuntary comedy."
