Deathstalker IV (Original title: Deathstalker IV: Match of the Titans ) is an American barbarian film from the genre of fantasy films produced in 1990 . The film follows as the last continuation of the Deathstalker series of the three previous films Deathstalker III (original title: Deathstalker III: Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell ), Mystor - Der Todesjäger II (original title: Deathstalker II ) and Der Todesjäger (original title: Deathstalker ). It thus forms the fourth part of a tetralogy .

The barbarian Deathstalker is on the hunt for his lost magic sword, which he accidentally exchanged for the sword of his companion Vaniat . However, this has already started the journey to a tournament , so that Deathstalker must now follow him there. On the way he meets the friendly witch Camisarde , who helps him find his way. On their journey they encounter numerous dangers and obstacles and in the process free the maiden Dionara from the clutches of the cat people. After arriving at the tournament venue, Deathstalker is challenged by the deceitful sorceress Janeris to participate and takes part in the competitions. In the end, he can defeat all challengers and regain his sword.
