Leigh McCloskey (born June 21, 1955 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor .

Career

McCloskey graduated from the Juilliard School , New York City , with a degree in acting . He made his TV debut in 1975. This was followed by numerous appearances in television series. He had his greatest success from 1980 to 1982 as Mitch Cooper in the series Dallas . McCloskey played Ethan Asher in the US soap California Clan from 1988 to 1990 and the role of Damian Smith in General Hospital from 1993 to 1996 . 1985 and 1988 the actor was seen again as a guest star in Dallas .

In addition to acting, McCloskey is also active as an artist and writer . So far he has written, illustrated and published five books of his work. Graphics by McCloskey and illustrations from his work "Grimoire" were used as a stage backdrop by the band The Rolling Stones on their A Bigger Bang Tour . He designed the artwork for the 2010 music album Cosmogramma by the American musician Flying Lotus .

Life

Leigh McCloskey has been married to the director and writer Carla Reinke since 1978 . The couple has two children (* 1982 and * 1997).
