action

Jonathan Hart - described by Butler Max in the opening credits of the series - is a "self-made millionaire" who leads a life in luxury with his wife Jennifer, in his mansion in Los Angeles or in the most beautiful places on the planet. Jonathan Hart earns the money through his company "Jonathan Hart Industries" - a company complex from different branches of the economy (which provided the scriptwriters with the most varied of environments). Jennifer Hart is a freelance journalist who occasionally writes articles. The childless couple repeatedly involuntarily get caught up in criminal cases that they solve together. They are supported by Max and their beloved dog Friedwart (a Löwchen who is called "Freeway" in the original version). The episodes were always a combination of the criminal cases to be solved and the representation of the love between the two main characters.
