Jochen Schröder
Jochen Schröder (born February 11, 1927 ) is a German actor and voice actor .
Life
Stage and film
After training in singing and acting, Jochen Schröder received engagements at various Berlin theaters. In 1955 he first appeared as a film actor and voice actor. From 1958 to 1986 he was a member of the Berlin cabaret ensemble Die Stachelschweine .
Schröder has been one of the busiest voice actors in Germany since the 1970s. The actors he regularly dubbed include Dick Van Dyke (in the series Diagnosis: Murder and in the film Night in the Museum , also Night in Museum 2 as Abraham Lincoln ), Ralph Waite (in The Waltons , among others ), Robert Loggia (in the Films Independence Day and Lost Highway ) and James Cromwell (inter alia in the films Star Trek: The First Contact and Defenseless - The General's Daughter and in the series Six Feet Under ). He also dubbed Lionel Stander and Lloyd Bridges several times .
In the animated series Captain Future , he spoke the "living brain" Simon Wright.
Radio plays
Jochen Schröder is u. a. Can be heard in several Bibi Blocksberg radio plays as Patrick Thunderstorm, in the new radio play version of Anne auf Green Gables (2008) as Matthew Cuthbert and in many different roles in the Horror Cabinet series . He also spoke the role as Grandpa Jost in the Alster detectives.
