Randall Duk Kim

Randall Duk Kim (born September 24, 1943 ) is an American film and stage actor of South Korean descent.

Life

Kim got his first role in the television series Hawaii Five-Zero , for which he played three times between 1968 and 1969. This was followed by his first role in the film with Ruler of the Island in 1970, but he was not mentioned in the credits . In the 1970s, Kim founded the American Players Theater in Spring Green , Wisconsin, and was a member of it until the 1990s.

From the late 1990s, Kim appeared regularly in internationally distributed films, such as General Alak in Anna and the King in 1999 . In 2003 he played the key maker for the second part of the Matrix trilogy. Kim also got a supporting role in the literary film adaptation of The Geisha . For Kung Fu Panda , which was released in 2008, he lent his voice to an animated character in the English version.
