Joseline Gassen
Joseline Gassen-Hesse (born September 12, 1951 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a German actress and voice actress .
Life
Joseline Gassen was born as the daughter of Joseph "Joe" Gassen. She attended Harrogate Ladies' College in Harrogate .
On television, Gassen could be seen in series such as Drei Damen vom Grill , Vom Loom zur Weltmacht , Spreepiraten and Der Landarzt . Together with Reiner Schöne , she played in the TV movie Hatschi .
Gassen was married to the comedian and actor Gerd Hesse from 1984 until his death in October 2016 and lives in Berlin.

Gassen has been working as a voice actress since the 1970s. She was discovered by Arnold Marquis , who took her to a dubbing studio, where she dubbed alongside him and Tilly Lauenstein . She received her first dubbing role for a prison film at the age of seventeen. After a long time in the ensemble, she was cast as Mary Rose Foster in The Rose for the synchronization of Bette Midler . This was followed by roles like Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor in Terminator 2 , Stefanie Powers as Jennifer Hart in Hart but Cordially , Cher in The Witches of Eastwick or Kirstie Alley as Mollie in Look Who's Talking! ; the role of Mollie in Look Who's Talking 2 turned down alley because of Alley's Scientology views . She is also known as the voice of Debra Winger and Ellen Barkin .
Audio books and games
Gassen is also extensively active in the radio play and audio book sector. She read in all the works by Tamara McKinley that have appeared in German and can also be heard in radio drama series such as Geisterjäger John Sinclair and Lady Bedfort .
