Charlayne Woodard
Charlayne Woodard ( [ wʊdɑːrd ] * 29. December 1953 in Albany , New York as Charlaine Woodard ) is an American actress .
Career
Woodard was educated at the Goodman School of Drama in Chicago . In 1978 she was nominated for a Tony Award in the category of best leading actress for the Broadway musical Ain't Misbehavin ' . For her performance in the Canadian film Hard Feelings (1982), she received a nomination for a Genie Award .
She has been married to lawyer Alan Michael Harris since 1991.
