Music Monks is the second studio album by the Berlin reggae / dancehall group Seeed . It was released on June 2, 2003. Compared to the previous album, which was actually a pure reggae album, you can hear strong influences from dancehall and dub on this album .

The first single was Music Monks . The official video was released on May 12, 2003. The shooting of the video took place on the Wartburg . In it you see Seeed disguised as monks who u. a. in the ballroom of Romanesque Palas dance of Wartburg.

What You Deserve Is What You Get

What You Deserve Is What You Get was released on November 3, 2003 as the second single on the album. In the video, Seeed are disguised as Stone Age people who are entering the city for the first time. The text is about a man who has achieved nothing in life. The first and second verses are in German, the chorus and third verse in English.

Release

Release was released on June 21, 2004 and was the third and final single on the album. The video shows Seeed at a concert in Jamaica . The song is also featured in the video game FIFA 2005 . It is the first single from Seeed that contains only English lyrics.
