New Dubby Conquerors is the first studio album by the Berlin reggae / dancehall group Seeed . It was released on May 21, 2001. The album name is derived from the song "Duppy Conqueror" by Bob Marley .

Compared to Seeed's later albums, where mainly his own compositions were recorded in various styles, New Dubby Conquerors is an almost pure reggae album with numerous samples and riddims from other genre artists. Borrowed riddims can be found in the songs "Tide Is High" ( The Tide Is High by The Paragons ), "We Seeed" ( Police & Thieves by Junior Murvin ), "Top of the City" ( Sun Is Shining by Bob Marley) as well in the hidden track "Miss Understanding" ( Armagideon Time by Willi Williams with the famous Real Rock Riddim ). The intro in Sensimilla is from the song Bubbles by funk guitarist Wah Wah Watson ; further samples can be found on "Riddim No. 1" (including James Brown , Mos Def and the guitar riff from Bob Marley's Could You Be Loved? ).

The most successful track is the dancehall song Dickes B in collaboration with the Jamaican dancehall deejay Black Kappa , which has achieved the status of a kind of "hymn" as an homage to Seeed's hometown Berlin and is still one of Seeed's most famous songs. Dickes B was released in April 2001 together with the songs I Am Waiting and We Seeed as the first single and hit the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The second single Dancehall Caballeros was released in late August 2001.

For the 15th anniversary, the album was included in the Hall of Fame of Bayerischer Rundfunk - a compilation of the most influential albums of all time.
