Linda Kozlowski (born January 7, 1958 in Fairfield , Connecticut ) is an American actress .

Life

Kozlowski attended the Juilliard School , where she learned to sing . In the early 1980s she appeared in off-Broadway plays such as How It All Began . In 1984 she starred in the play Death of a Salesman , which was filmed in 1985 with Dustin Hoffman , John Malkovich and Kozlowski.

Her best-known role is the lead role of Sue Charlton , who she played alongside Paul Hogan in the action comedies Crocodile Dundee (1986), Crocodile Dundee II (1988) and Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles (2001). In 1987 she was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the first of the three films . She played one of the leading roles alongside Bill Paxton in the comedy Faule Tricks und Religious Sprüche (1988) . In the horror film John Carpenter's The Village of the Damned (1995), she appeared in a larger role alongside Christopher Reeve and Kirstie Alley .

Kozlowski has been married to Paul Hogan since 1990 and has one child with him. She filed for divorce in October 2013.
