There is a series of three murders in a poor part of Pittsburgh. The private investigator Keri Finnegan is investigating them.
Finnegan is also researching the apparently series-related background to the mafia murder, the victim of which her father, a police officer, was a few years earlier. The murdered man was later portrayed in public as corrupt. His daughter sneaks up on corrupt police officers and finds out that Rocky Nicolletta was the mastermind.
