The Cases of Harry Fox (Original title: Crazy Like a Fox ) is an American crime series that was broadcast in the United States on CBS between 1984 and 1986 . After two seasons with a total of 35 episodes, the television film Der Schrecken von London ( Still Crazy like a Fox ) followed in 1987, which meant the final end of the series. In Germany, it was broadcast on the ZDF evening program from 1987 .
Jack Warden received two Emmy nominations for the lead role of Harry Fox .

Harry Fox Sr. works as a private detective in San Francisco , while his son Harrison Fox Jr. is a lawyer . The senior often needs the help of his son, so that he is drawn into the most impossible situations against his will and has to help the father in solving them.

John Rubinstein , who plays the role of son Harrison K. Fox, is the son of the famous pianist Artur Rubinstein .
