Reza Badiyi
Reza Badiyi ( Persian : رضا بدیعی [ reˈzɔː bædiːˈiː ]; born April 17, 1930 in Arak ; † August 20, 2011 in Los Angeles , California ) was an Iranian film director and film producer .
Act
Badiyi also worked as an actor , screenwriter and title designer. Among other things, he was responsible for the opening sequences of Hawaii Five-Zero , Mini-Max and Mary Tyler Moore .
Reza Badiyi has worked as a director since 1963. He was the stepfather of actresses Jennifer Jason Leigh and Carrie Morrow . His daughter, Mina Badie , is an actress who was directed by her father on the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode Paradise Lost . Reza Badiyi was a close friend of Robert Altman .
He was mostly behind the camera for television series .
