background
While the first season could mainly be assigned to the detective genre, falling audience numbers and the success of the X-Files - The FBI's Scary Cases led to a different orientation of the series for the second season. So paranormal phenomena were built into the series. But even in spite of these changes, the number of viewers did not improve, so that the series ended after two seasons and 44 episodes on May 16, 1997.
In Germany, the station Sat.1 showed the first season from July 14, 1996 to January 5, 1997, each with one episode per week. The second season was broadcast there from April 22 to May 25, 1998 with one episode per day.
