Horst Breiter

Horst Breiter (* 1935 ; † August 6, 2012 ) was a German actor , radio , radio drama and voice actor .

Life

Breiter completed his training at the University of Hanover . He worked at Radio Bremen from 1962 to 1997 as a radio announcer, 16 years of which he was responsible for the bedtime stories every evening. During this time he also worked extensively as a radio play speaker for the station. For his work, Breiter received the Critics' Prize of the German Record Industry for Radio Bremen productions in cooperation with Deutsche Grammofon.

He took on dubbing roles for some of the opponents of Columbo in the television series of the same name . He also appeared repeatedly as a narrator or speaker of documentaries.

He had a recurring role as Heinrich Brendel in the children's series Neues vom Süderhof . From 1991 to 1993 he was seen in a total of 13 episodes of the NDR television production. Before that, he starred in a few films in the 1960s and 1970s.

Breiter lived in Worphausen until his death .
